WTF? o_O

Ok, after trying yet another brand of herbal sleeping pills I have come to accept that I may as well just swallow water for all the good they do.

But I bought this latest brand as I hadn’t tried them before and I read the small, neatly folded leaflet that came in the box.

Ingredients, Instructions, Possible Side Effects….blah blah blah!! Until I got to this bit…..
“….are white circular film coated tablets. They are available in bottles containing 50, 100 and 200 tablets. Not all pack sizes may be marketed.”

WTF??? o_O

Then why make them in different pack sizes if they aren’t going to market them??

What do they do with the bigger pack sizes if they don’t market them?

Do they have a warehouse that needs filling?
Do they give them away free to employees?
Do they add souped up engines and race them?
Or attach lego wheels to save on diesel?
Do they build steps out of them so the warehouse people can reach the high boxes of smaller packs that are marketed?

Just W.T.F is the point and purpose of making them in pack sizes that aren’t marketed. It says they are available……..but where??? (Not that I’ll be buying any more of the rubbish things but still….)

Oooh maybe they leave them lying around for people to find….

Ideas? Anyone?

Herbal sleeping tablets have been known to make me trippy … I had a bad bought of insomnia at university so decided to try herbal ones. I curled in a ball and giggled at the wall, when our housemate came to see if I needed any I demanded a fab ice lolly and sat there not eating it but protecting it from potential ice lolly thieves … haven’t touched them since!

I don’t blame you! LOL At least it was good trippy and involved giggles.
I am now wondering why a Fab lolly, of all the lollies out there? (Sorry)
On the 4th night of following the instructions…..4 tabs early in the evening then 4 at bedtime and nowt happening, I added in a shot of Jack Daniels……nuffink. still no sleep til gone 4am.
Last night I fell asleep as the sun set thinking “at last!!” Then was awake between 12.30 and 4am *sigh*

oh and DONT try to count sheep as they’ll start to jump over in 2’s and 3’s then some will jump back over the other way and be a pain in the neck, so you’ll end up more awake !

You have weird sheep, dude! LOL
The times I tried to do stuff like that I had trouble picturing things because my grasshopper brain would start wandering off thinking about details and then go off on tangents all over the place.
Similar problem with those recordings of rain or surf that are supposed to help. I listen but start hearing the fakeness of it or hear a lorry rumble by which blasts the surf imagery away. My brain hates me 😦

Maybe they had an argument and the marketers of the bigger packs went off in a huff leaving all the big pack sizes on the shelf.

or maybe its a silly law, like you cant buy more than two packets of paracetemol in one go in case you kill yourself. and of course the law works as no one take overdoses anymore, LOL

Then what’s the point of making the big sizes?? o_O
I have paracetamol on prescription. I purposefully left them off last months repeat order because I must have about 400 of them. Its mad!! The dr gives me more than enough of one pill that would kill me but refuses to give me the sleeping pills that work because they can be addictive. Another WTF moment right there!!! o_O

            WTF 🙂

theres a marketing opportunity there, selling surplus on ebay, but I bet that’s illegal.
our house is probably like a pharmacy if I looked, its dumb system really, but then there might be a global shortage of some drug so having a stockpile maybe is a good idea.

Hmmm…..stockpiling paracetamol to sell when the zombie apocalypse happens??? Might be better of stockpiling the ingrediants for napalm …..but I need more storage space than a drawer for that. See!! My brain hates me!!

I had an elderly friend, 95,and she swore that if she woke up in the night a small glass of almond milk and half a banana worked….she said it was something in the banana and the milk together put her to sleep…I was always running to the store for her as she only kept a couple of bananas at time in her home….she couldn’t go to bed unless she knew there was one in the kitchen…sounds crazy, maybe she was, but at 95 let me tell you, she was sharp as a tack…I get insomnia and I have yet to find anything that will help…..when I wake up in the night with it, I have found meditating helps sometimes….and others I do relaxing techniques and it helps sometimes….mostly I just get up and get on with the day, in the middle of the night of course…LOL sorry to hear your dilemma…..

I don’r take herbal sleeping pills, but my pdoc wanted to put me on sleeping pills. See, I have chronic fatigue syndrome which puts me to sleep alot I will go to bed 9 pm and then I will wake up at 11-12 and then, I would just listen to some music on the radio and then fall back to sleep.

I can’t think of any reason they would make sizes they don’t market. Weird! Have you tried tinctures of sleepy herbs? I’ve been experimenting with different herbal sedatives. So far, passionflower and large amounts of valerian work pretty well for me. California poppy and skullcap don’t seem to do a thing. Pills and capsules take too long to work for me. I like instant sleepy. 🙂

  6. Prescribed medications have that sometimes, I think the bigger packs are given to pharmacies to who then split the packs into whatever amounts are needed for prescriptions since doctors aren’t that great at prescribing the same amount as is in one pack. Why they would have that for herbal meds though, I don’t know.
