Nail Stamping #2

I am absolutely loving this technique 😀  And I am absolutely chuffed to bits with how my second attempt has turned out, but ye gods is it difficult to photograph your own hands! I am in awe of the dedicated nail bloggers who take such stunning photos of their nails for the world to enjoy.

But saying that, I only use my phone for pictures, and I am not terribly good at photography anyway, so I did get some help for this.

Anyways…..these designs are from the MoYou plate I mentioned. It’s no.12 from the Mother Nature Collection.

The plate is actually silver. It’s just I took this photo using flash, but it shows up the detail really well. Those tiny scratches are a puzzle to me because you can’t actually see them in reality. The plate itself is about 4 x 2.5 inches.

I used a pale shimmery base colour, and a purple duo chrome stamping polish. And here is the result 😀

This pic was taken outdoors. I used a different part of the plate on each finger to try it all out 🙂

 

I had to try and produce a close up for you so you could see just how delicate and detailed the image is. And I must be doing something wrong here, because once again I can’t get the cursor to go either alongside the close up or below it *sigh*.

So – (hopefully side by side) the uber close up and a slightly blurry pic of my thumbnails to finish off the set 😀

I have learned from the prep for this post. Firstly – my cuticles need attention LOL, and secondly, without a doubt other people take better photographs than I do :p

If anyone would like more info on the method, let me know and I will attempt a tutorial 😀
