I am absolutely loving this technique πΒ And I am absolutely chuffed to bits with how my second attempt has turned out, but ye gods is it difficult to photograph your own hands! I am in awe of the dedicated nail bloggers who take such stunning photos of their nails for the world to enjoy.
But saying that, I only use my phone for pictures, and I am not terribly good at photography anyway, so I did get some help for this.
Anyways…..these designs are from the MoYou plate I mentioned. It’s no.12 from the Mother Nature Collection.
The plate is actually silver. It’s just I took this photo using flash, but it shows up the detail really well. Those tiny scratches are a puzzle to me because you can’t actually see them in reality. The plate itself is about 4 x 2.5 inches.
I used a pale shimmery base colour, and a purple duo chrome stamping polish. And here is the result π
This pic was taken outdoors. I used a different part of the plate on each finger to try it all out π
I had to try and produce a close up for you so you could see just how delicate and detailed the image is. And I must be doing something wrong here, because once again I can’t get the cursor to go either alongside the close up or below it *sigh*.
More wappy continuity…..I do apologise π¦
So – (hopefully side by side) the uber close up and a slightly blurry pic of my thumbnails to finish off the set π
I have learned from the prep for this post. Firstly – my cuticles need attention LOL, and secondly, without a doubt other people take better photographs than I do :p
If anyone would like more info on the method, let me know and I will attempt a tutorial π
Oh wow! I have not seen this before, I usually sit with a mini paint brush and paint each nail by hand… pain staking and a grueling process!

Oh I so wish I had the talent to do that!! I have all the brushes but my artistic skills would only make a toddler jealous π¦
Do you have any photos? I would love to see them π
There is an amazing world of nail art via stamping out there for you to discover π

I love the way your nails look. It is fun to be a girl and paint nails. I have not done that in a while. I think maybe it would do me good to paint them tomorrow.
Thank you for inspiring me π

It is fun, and I am a great believer in grabbing those little things that bring us joy xx

No I didn’t. I forgot. I am glad you reminded me. Those little girly things seem silly to guys but they are helpful for self esteem and feeling good about your femininity.
I have some peachy polish that I will put on tomorrow.
Much love,
Annie
