I signed up for this out of interest, although I am not sure if I will follow it daily, I know there is still stuff I can learn from it.
I’ve actually had this blog for about 5 years, but it’s only in the last 9 months that I have posted regularly.
There is already info in my “about” pages so I was going to skip this first assignment but then I thought….well, why not.
I am a slightly eccentric, slightly scatty, small and round mum to two beautiful grown up daughters and two beautiful cats.
I used to work with ‘disaffected’ young people aged 16-21 and taught literacy, numeracy and basic IT skills to all age groups. I loved my job.
Now, thanks to fibromyalgia and a badly slipped disc that left me with permenant nerve damage, I am disabled. That I do not love. That, I can still rage and fume against 7 years in.
Every day is a battle with pain. It is also a battle against the side effects of my illness such as chronic fatigue, insomnia and depression.
I have always written – poetry and stories as well as the odd blog/journal online. I once finished an 85,000 word novel. I had just finished transferring it all from floppy disk to computer and that very night we were burgled. It was gone. That ripped out my urge to write for a very long time!
You can read a very small selection of my writing HERE – if you can fight your way past the tumbleweeds and cobwebs. Most of my writing is either on paper or on my computer that I havent touched in over 6 months.
I like to be creative. I love beads and making jewellery, knitting and crochet. I love reading and am currently on the fourth book of A Game of Thrones – my 3rd book since christmas.
I am a Scouser by birth but no longer have the accent. I went to the same school as a number of famous people including Clive Barker and John Lennon. Me and thousands of other Liverpudlians over the years LOL.
I love music. Spring and Autumn. Bodies of water, as long as I am on dry land. I am the black sheep of my birth family.
I am also asthmatic and have squillions of allergies.
I am also very much still finding my way after 2014.
I expect to remain single for the rest of my life.
My favourite colours are purple, blue and black.
My least favourite colours are orange and yellow.
And I have run out of steam!! PMSL
I am just me and my blog’s title sums up my life pretty well 😀
But I am also delighted that other people seem to like it too 😀
Enjoyed reading your bio. Sorry to hear of your health issues 😦 but also sorry that your least favourite colours are orange and yellow. Orange makes me happy. 🙂

Oh I agree it is a happy colour. But it’s not a colour I would wear or decorate my house with. But I would plant orange flowers.
Thank you 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed it xx

I’ll settle for that. I certainly wouldn’t wear it. Probably. Unless it was on a floral shirt, which I’m partial to wearing. Orange Gerberas are my fave flowers. Keep up the creative writing! 🙂

It was great getting to know a bit about you! You seem like a very creative, well rounded person. I wish you weren’t always in pain. Never let your good qualities get diminished by your fibromyalgia. Have a good night :).

From on Chronic pain suffer’er (<<lol) to another let me just say 'I feel your pain'.
I am truly sorry to hear about the 85,000 word Novel, being burgled, and having your urge to write ripped away!!!! Oh that angers me so. Truly sorry, I can't tell how glad I am that you are here, and writing again. I think you write well, I am no one to say so, I just like it. I for one am glad you do so here and I Thank You for all the writing you do here as I enjoy it. Keep it up ;~)

Thank you so much 😀
((((hugs))) for your pain too. And you’re not no-one, you’re Mysticallunarose 😀 and I’m really glad you enjoy my blog.
I still have the hand-written first draft of that novel. The very bare bones. I have looked at it a few times in the last couple of years and I did try to bring it back to life but……it just wasn’t happening 😦
