I am not getting all the notifications I should, such as replies to comments I have left in the last couple of days. But there have also been comments left on my posts that I have not been notified about.
It’s very annoying, and I apologise to anyone who has replied to me – if I haven’t acknowledged you in some way – either by liking your comment or replying in some way, I am most definitely NOT ignoring you, or being rude.
I have found a few that I hadn’t been notified about, but there could be others.
Has anyone else noticed this?

It’s a pain in the arse, to be perfectly honest. And it seems to be things that disrupt the sense of community here, which is even more annoying *feeling well grumpy*
I might have to brave the forums again and enquire about it *goes off muttering – bloody hate forums – mutter, grumble*

Thanks for letting me know. I just said to butchcountry67, that WP might not be aware of it, so I will probably brave the forums tomorrow.

That’s true- yes many of my comments don’t show up or I comment on another’s post and it does not appear- really frustrating. Sometimes my comments will show up hours later!

yes it’s happening with me as well, it is truly annoying, and I really hate going to the forums, last time I was there it got rather heated and nothing was resolved at all.

I feel the same about forums too. But I keep thinking that unless someone says something, they might not even be aware it’s happening, so I might brave it, just not tonight.

I’ve noticed this but I thought it was just me and my scattered mind. I always feel so bad when it appears that I am ignoring someone!

Definitely not just you, Trisha. I first noticed it last night, and didnt think too much of it, but through today I have noticed it several times. It’s mad, because I got notified that someone had commented in reply to one of my comments, and when I went to the page, found they were actually replying to the blog owners reply to me
so it seems to be totally random. Thanks for letting me know – I will report it on the forum tomorrow xx

oh thats ok then, thought you’d gone off me, LOL. I get email notifications when you post something (which sometimes go into my spam folder) but when i log onto WP i havent allways seen same in top right hand bit, software glitches, just like being on FB.

Its much nicer here than facebook though. I just wish wp would stop “improving” things and just fix what’s broken!
