My Rory…….my beautiful, fatty fat fat cat, who won’t even sniff at delectable and lovingly prepared raw meats, has just had her head in the bowl I just ate from. She had licked it clean before she was caught. Hmmmm……I had just eaten chilli bean rice. It didn’t even have any meat in it!!

It’s a great picture of her too. It really shows her beautiful eyes. It was taken by an ex who loves photography and has a snazzy camera.

I love seeing pictures of Rory – she is very beautiful! As for chowing down on the veggie chili, Monkey likes green peas! It is hilarious watching her eat them, pouncing on any that might fall to the ground before Violet can get it! LOL

My girl Sally loves pasta. She steals it piece by piece from the bowl and runs off to eat it.

Your cat is cute, but mine won’t eat people food and won’t even go near milk. She did drink out of my water glass though before I realized. I don’t know how long she and I shared that drink.

LOL – you do love her, right?
My mum’s cat wouldn’t drink from a bowl, either. She ended up ‘donating’ one of her drinking glasses for the cat’s use.
This is great finding out how eccentric everyone else’s cat is π

Yes I love her, but she is an eccentric cat. When I adopted her the people had to tear their boxspring apart to get her out. She was terrified and spend 2 nights under my bed in the boxspring. I finally pulled her out after rubbing her head for hours and finally got her to eat and use the cat box. She is terrified of dogs too and the dog is downstairs.

oh bless her. So your cat lives upstairs, and your dog lives downstairs?

The dog lives downstairs and the cat lives wherever she pleases LOL! She moves fast so she roams the house like she owns it. She originally started out in my room, now she is everywhere. She loves to sit outside my dad’s room where the dog is and cry. He barks but can’t get to her. Plus my son’s room is also right there. She is waiting for him to come out and she cries as soon as he touches the door which sets the dog to barking. π

My last cat Bella loved licking bowls and plates no matter what you had eaten. Even spicy food like curry and chilli she loved. Cats are weird

Sphinx, my black kitty who lived to be 14, loved cheese pizza, mint chocolate chip ice cream, and chipotle veggie bowl leftovers. Cats are weird. Well, all the best cats are weird.

I think mint choc chip ice cream has to be the weirdest thing I have heard of a cat liking. LOL
I agree, the best cats are weird π

A cat who ISN’T weird is an aberration.

Moongazer,
I just wrote a huge post reply on the forum regarding the reader. I did not know where else to leave this..as I did it after I replied to you on my post, and I just saw their last reply to you….
If you would like to read it I am sure you can…I have been getting all of the responses in my email…let me know… very pissed when I saw that they wrote all the issues have been resolved for everyone else and that they keep expecting you to look things up and telling you they are there.
I simply cannot do this. I am in awe at the time you have taken. my mind simply cannot do it. I have found more. But well, if you read it you will see.
Much love to you my dear…xxx CC

I am heading over there to reply in a minute. Once again, on another blog I am seeing people talking about having to go and check on blogs that havent shown up in their reader, so I have added the link to the forum thread and asked people to add their voices about this.
Thank you again xxx

I used to have a cat who loved carrots. And apple skins — oh, how he loved apple skins! (He was also fond of meat and cheese like a normal cat.) His mom like lettuce, of all things.

Wow! More eccentric cats π
I can kind of understand the carrots and apple skins due to their sweetness, but lettuce?!
My girls are real dairy queens, with cheese being a big favourite, but Mitch – he’s a real bloke LOL – the meatier the better π

Supposedly, cats can’t taste sweet. Gotta wonder, then, why cats will eat straight sugar. One of mine does, if we don’t keep it away from her. And then she spends the next several minutes running on the walls. π You don’t want to know what she was like after getting into a package of Twizzlers candy… Sugar AND red dye. She also likes the taste of limes.
I know cats who won’t eat cheese — or tuna fish. I used to think ALL cats liked fish. None of mine now like eggs, but the cat who liked carrots would ONLY eat tuna-and-egg flavored cat food.
