And that's just to start! Anything and Everything will crop up here. The Chaos that is part of a life involving Cats, Crafts and the Chronic Pain of Fibromyalgia.
I can relate! Meditation is a tricky halfway point! And I second the comment already here — you should use this when you are trying to fall asleep on your regular sleep schedule! :-p
This cracks me up, because the last time I tried to meditate, I fell asleep too! I’ve decided my brain has two speeds – fast and stop. I just don’t think I have a slow. 🙂
LOL – I can seriously relate to that!!
Last night the book said that to meditate mindfully you need to observe you are about to fall asleep and take steps to prevent it. A cold shower, if thats what it takes Eek!!
I went to a chronic pain clinic a few years ago and we would end each afternoon with meditation or relaxation tapes. Several times I fell asleep and had to be woken up to go home! Then at night I would put on the same tapes and stay wide awake! I am glad it is working for you. If it gets you to sleep for right now, go with it. You can do the “resisting” once you have gotten your sleep schedule back to normal. 🙂
LOL – oh bless you. I think I’d be mortified if that happened to me tho!
I’m actually taking zopiclone to help me sleep at the moment pmsl. Its the great paradox of FM, isnt it. Chronic fatigue combined with insomnia. Nod off at the wrong moment, cant sleep when you want to!
Now you learned to relax, just enough to fall asleep too 😀
