Starting to Feel Prepared Now

For Yule, that is πŸ˜€

I bought a mahoosive joint of gammon today, thanks to my saved up Nectar card points. There are just a couple more prezzies to arrive in the post, hopefully this week.

After that it’s just posting the ones that will be opened by far flung friends and wrapping the rest.

Littlun put the tree up today. We’ve opted for silver and blue decorations this year. It’s nice that we’ve accumulated enough over the years to be able to choose different colour themes.

We have a half tree that can go flat against a wall or whatever and it’s one of the best things I have ever bought.

Most people look perplexed when I mention the half treeΒ O_o then when they see it, they want one πŸ™‚

I got ours from Asda Living a few years ago but to be honest, I had never seen one before that, nor have I since, although I bet they can be found online.

Here’s ours. It has lights but Littlun took the pic and forgot to turn them on 😦

yours is bigger than ours, but think ours is wider round the middle :).

Yours will definitely be wider round the middle coz mine is only half a tree anyway lol πŸ˜›
Our cats are usually pretty good actually. Mitch had a bat at one of the lower baubles but he’s a reprobate anyway lol.
Yay for shopping points!!! Arent they fab? I get nectar points from ebay purchases too πŸ™‚
You always cook wonderful sounding things at Yule pd. What’s on the menu this year?

some more venison, but a smaller bit (was cheaper), some beef, apart from that normal stuff and a varied collection of different beers and chocolate plus any savouries we cook
