Afterburn Ice – A Poem

There’s no going back
You have to know
You cannot reside
Where you have destroyed
You cannot rebuild
What you vapourized.
It’s homeless now
It has nowhere to live
The lie you – are –
Is too much to forgive.
It’s out in the cold
Since you froze my heart
When you blasted what was
Completely apart
The pieces are falling
To bury you deep
May the pain in your heart
Never
Ever
Sleep.
